Advanced Hydrodynamic Optimisation for High-Performance Jet Boats

Problem
High-speed jet boats experience complex hydrodynamic interactions between the hull and jet pump intakes. To achieve maximum speed and acceleration, it is crucial to optimise these interactions without compromising stability and handling.

Solution
By using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling for high Froude number flows, we can evaluate complex multiphase interactions. Floating body simulations enable the assessment of dynamic sinkage and trim across various boat speeds, incorporating the impact of the pump intake on hull performance.

Result
This approach allows for the validation of jet boat performance prior to physical testing, reducing risks to the driver and enhancing overall boat performance.
